Built in 2005, the Island Expedition and Island Discovery operate regularly between Boston and the Harbor Islands. They are also used for harbor cruises and sunset cruises. These compact vessels are perfect for smaller parties, and can explore some of the less-traveled areas of the harbor. The main deck features an enclosed cabin, snack bar, restroom, and a covered outdoor deck. The second deck is open to the air and features bench seating.
A state-of-the-art audio system includes speakers located throughout the vessel. A wireless microphone is perfect for tours and educational cruises.
The Island Boats carry 200 passengers and can travel at 24 knots.
