Directions to Quincy Terminal

Follow the Trailblazing Signs.

FROM HINGHAM, COHASSET AND SCITUATE: Take Rt. 3A North. Proceed over the Fore River Bridge to the Quincy Rotary, follow ¾ of the way around until the entrance to Harbor Express.

FROM ROUTE 3: Take Exit 16 onto Rt. 18 North for 9/10ths of a mile. At 2 nd traffic signal turn Left onto Rt. 53 North and travel 2.5 miles. Turn Right at 2 nd traffic light ( East Howard St.) follow to end. Turn Right at traffic signal towards the rotary and entrance to Harbor Express.

FROM I93: Take I93 South to the Braintree Split and merge onto Route 3 South. Take Exit 18 ( Washington St.) at end of ramp turn Left. Take the first Right onto Church St. and follow to the end. Then turn Left onto Elm St. Elm changes to Hayward St. Continue straight to the end, then turn Left on Rt. 53 North. Turn Right at 1 st traffic signal (East Howard Street) follow to end. Turn Right at traffic signal towards the rotary and entrance to Harbor Express.

FROM DORCHESTER / BOSTON: Go over Neponset River Bridge and follow the signs for Rt. 3A South. Travel 4.5 miles to the rotary at the Fore River Bridge. Entrance to Harbor Express parking and terminal are off the rotary.

Directions to our Boston docks

Follow signs to the Aquarium.

FROM THE NORTH: Take I-93 South to Exit 24A (Government Center). Take the right fork, then stay left. At the traffic light, turn onto Atlantic Avenue. There are parking facilities at the New England Aquarium and the Boston Harbor Hotel, both on the right.

FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-93 North to Exit 20 (South Station). The exit puts you on Atlantic Avenue. Stay straight on Atlantic Ave. for five blocks. There are parking facilities at the New England Aquarium and the Boston Harbor Hotel, both on the right.

FROM THE WEST: Take the Mass Pike (I-90) to I-93 North. Take Exit 23 (Government Center). Follow signs to the New England Aquarium which will require you to make a 180 degree loop onto Atlantic Avenue. There are parking facilities at the New England Aquarium and the Boston Harbor Hotel, both on the right.

Harbor Express and Harbor Islands Express vessels depart from the north side of Long Wharf, adjacent the Marriott hotel and the Christopher Columbus Park. Walk north on Atlantic Avenue from the parking garages past the Aquarium. Take a right once you pass the Marriott. Our ticket kiosk is 100 yards down on the left.

Whale Watches, Harbor Cruises, and the Salem Ferry depart from the Aquarium dock at Central Wharf. Walk directly towards the Aquarium. The ticket booth and dock are on your left.
